Decodable Books

Decodable readers use phonics to teach reading skills. They are great for emerging, dyslexic and English-language learner readers. They usually come in sets, with each volume in the set focusing on different individual phonemes. To find more phonics books in the catalogue, search the keyword "phonics".

  • This series of 41 readers is a great starting place. The early books start with the simplest phonemes and gradually get more complex as the series progresses. The series is numbered 1-41 so you can follow the progression.
