The name of the book made me hesitant to read it, but also curious. I liked the plot and conclusion. Sherman Mack, is on a mission to find out who are the defilers. The school has a history of a photo of a girl, ending up on the mirrors of the school bathrooms with a single capital D. DEFILED. She become completely ignored by the school even the teachers. The moral of the story I thought was really sweet, people assumed the D meant defiled, everyone else went along; making up stories, bullying them, isolating them. No one ever questioned or stood up to the horrible system. The defiler didn't do the work, they did. Anyone could have noticed the girl and didn't care about the "rule". Sherman shouldn't have had to do it on his own and honesty it wouldn't have lasted a day, if someone stood up. Recommend. Rating: 4/5

There's humour here, but also some sharp insights into teen social dynamics.

It was an entertaining book. I like how the main character, Sherman, helps the defiled girls even at the point where his own reputation is at risk. Recommend to people who wants to have a good and easy read in a short period of time!

A piece of hair had fallen away from his comb-over. Fred isn’t very old, but he only has about eight strands of hair left on the top of his head. He does a lot with them, though.
