These are some great stories: thoughtful, perceptive, soft-toned, slyly wicked (or rather wickedness slyly shown), and even at times ruminative stories. I was most aroused by each of the first three stories and the last one.
each story easily stands alone as a small masterpiece; the collection seems to hold the key to the enigmas every woman must master no matter how small or how grand her life's circumstances, culminating with the last story "My Mother's Dream" told through a newborn's narrative-amazing!
