But the Large Print version is physically too large for our elderly reader to handle, so he won't have the opportunity to tell us about it. A real shame.
Books are so important to this reader. He consumes them and they become a great topic of conversation with those who visit and care for him. He needs the large print format. But a large print volume does not work for him when it is so heavy, bulky and unwieldy.
How about breaking these 1,000+ page large print beasts into two volumes so they can be handled by their target readers? Hope that becomes standard practice for the publishers and/or the libraries.
